Version 0.2.4.1 Lani Content and Various Additions
This update has been a long time coming, but it adds some much-needed improvements to the game. Lani's character (as per a Patreon poll) was the focus of this update, adding a lot of her backstory and opening up the beginning of her adult content. I also spent a lot of time getting all of the titles fleshed out. You can now get them all to level 10.

Full Version 0.2.4.1:
General Additions and Updates:
- Start of Lani story content. Storybranch starts at adventure guild level 3, culminates in tent purchase (tent leads to first camping scene (20% chance of occurring each night), and the last scene of this update.. tent purchase and scene are not locked behind story content at this time).
- Titles have had a large update. All titles now level up to 10. All Gods now have their own specific title (adventure = exp boost, war = physical attack boost, magic = magic attack boost, charity = overall stat boost).
- All experience requirements have been lowered by roughly 30% (impacts guild/temple level, god level, and player level).
- Experience gain increases for Temple and Guild have doubled.
- A new merchant has been added.
- Four new weapons have been added to the above-mentioned merchant.
- A tent is now available for purchase in the Adventure Guild.
- Player skills are now permanent and do not refresh or lose value at death/rebirth.
- Player skills now level up with the use of skill books. The only skill branch currently working properly is the attack skills in the Light Attribute. Healing is not currently available, though the player CAN learn them. Just don't use them. You'll crash the game. Most players will not earn enough skill books to reach this level anyway. Books can be found in the home library, at the guild, at the temple, and at the beast merchant before day 11.
- 'Defend' is now available and working in battle mode.
- Enemies now 'charge up' their powerful skills for one turn before using them.
- Players now earn more hp per level.
- You can only fail to look up library books once. All subsequent attempts will now be successful.
- The shop screens now show item stats (defense, attack, etc).
Bugfixes:
- Soul Box should no longer give errors when an item is not equipped at death.
- Equipped items can now be selected and are removed from the general inventory window.
- Level up statistics are now accurate in the battle menu.
- Lani now returns to her appropriate level 1 stats and values at rebirth.
- Blood Rain skill animation is much less taxing.
Known Issues:
- Save file compatibility is weak for saves from versions of the game prior to 0.2 (prior to roughly April or May of 2020). If you ignore the errors at load and then suicide to refresh your character (the knife icon), then you may be able to salvage your file. If this does not work, drop by Discord and I'll see if there's an easy fix, but in all likelihood, you'll need to restart.
- Stealth is currently inactive (if you have the sneak skill, it will remain on your character, and any levels earned with Ragus will transfer into his Title level). This locks out a single scene with Bess in the Temple for this version of the game. Stealth will be active in the next update, along with more stealth-related content.
- If player levels up Light Attribute to Level 7 and unlocks healing magic, those spells will crash the game. You shouldn't have any reason to do such a thing.
- Player skills do not currently have animations (Light Pebble and Light Ball). They were cut from this release in order to get it finished before Christmas.
- One issue has been noted about a skill book failing to give the appropriate skill experience... the issue hasn't been replicated on new games or other saved games, so a fix for whatever led to this problem has yet to be implemented.
Hotfix 0.2.4.1 Changelog:
- Correction of many spelling errors.
- Morning title conversation with parents added.
- Soul Box has continued to give errors, so this hopefully fixes that.
- Some Gods could only level to 2 or 3, this opens them up to 10 levels.
- Adds a 'use' button for skill books.
- Camping equipment put into the soul box is now recognized as legitimate camping equipment.
- Endurance title now calculates based on your endurance stat.

how do i eat the rooster?
We just added a Tips & Tricks channel to our Discord Server. And we have about 3-5 really dedicated players plus myself and the Developer who are active in the Server.
